In addition, you will be reviewing verb tenses, grammar, and reading strategies, all the while navigating an imaginative world. You will even write your own ending to this graphic novel. As you progress in the course, you will learn about publications and the vocabulary that goes with them so that you can create your very own. You will also be prompted to think about and discuss your future plans by using the appropriate verb tenses, such as le futur simple and le conditionnel présent.

The aim of this core French course is to provide you with fundamental communication skills in French and an understanding of the nature of the language and its culture. It will enable you to use the French language in real-life situations, as the course contains text, audio clips, and videos all in French. This French as a second language course has been designed to present French language structures in engaging, communicative contexts (oral communication, speaking, and writing). You will be supported in practicing these skills in a risk-free environment and able to build up your confidence before any formal assessment occurs.
