VHS International Student Bursary Launch

Virtual High School is excited to announce that we now offer a bursary for international students! Our mission as a school is to empower students, and a key part of this mission is ensuring that our courses are accessible to students around the world from a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds.
The VHS International Student Bursary was designed to encourage motivated, non-Canadian students to take courses with VHS wherever they are located, regardless of their financial background. Beyond simply helping a student with tuition fees, VHS hopes to further assist any international student with their future education goals, whether that be internationally or within Canada.
The VHS International Student Bursary is awarded bi-monthly, six times per year. The value of the bursary is one full credit course (up to $729 CAD). All prospective and current students are eligible to apply, and recipients will be chosen based primarily on the extent of their financial need. Applications are due by the 15th of each month, and applicants will be notified about the status of the bursary via email. The applications for the first International Student Bursary are due March 15, 2021.
To be eligible, students must submit the completed application, which includes a short written piece on personal and academic goals. Students must be in good academic standing and able to demonstrate financial need with supporting documentation.
